Transfer of App from Phone Memory to SD Car

Hi,

I have just bought Sony Xperia SP in India.

I have installed few apps and games on the phone.

I wish to transfer these apps and games on SD card however there is no provision of moving the same from Phone memory to SD card. The only option I could see was transfer to photos/ music & Videos.

Could you please suggest any option for moving the games & apps from Phone's Internal memory to SD card (a feature which is available in Xperia Neo).

I tried using few apps available on play store like App2SD etc however I was unable to move the games & apps to SD card.

Would appreciate your solution on the above.

Hope sony will come up wif better firmware tat supports app to sd and no errors or technical issues......

Hi,

I am unable to transfer the application to SD card. I've installed application to transfer the apps to SD card, thinking that there is no option apps to SD is not with Xperia SP, but even with the application also the functionality is not working. Please help.

You can not transfer apps2SD, the only way to do so is to root your phone and then use apps such as apps2sd to do so

hey i bought this phone for games ....... pls do something to fix this i want to move my apps to sd card

HI I recently brought a Sony Xperia SP. Its amazing except 3 features-

1. Xperia SL has 12 mp camera but tis one being an upgrade sort of version has only 8mp( but its ok though)

2. Even front camera has been compromised and only a VGA??!!!! Camera has been given( still ok)

3. Most irritating feature is that- we cannot move apps to SD!!!! Come on man, they have given only 5.8 gb usage space in internal memory. so after installing all minor apps i m left with 3gb space. HOW CAN WE INSTALL GAMES LIKE ASPHALT8 , FIFA 2013 AND OTHER HEAVY GUNS WHICH ALMOST OCCUPY SPACE OF 1-1.5 GB????????? WHATS USE OF BUYING A PREMEIUM PHONE WITHOUT SUCH A BASIC FEATURE OF MOVING APPS TO SD....?????

And to add salt to the wound- this feature is available in Xperia L????   This s highly unacceptable.. 

So Sony i sincerely asking u to bring an update with this feature of app to sd or else i m selling this phone n never return to sony again.. I will also advice everyone not to go for sony.. So plz bring the update soon

3 You can NOT move apps to the SD card, are you certain that this is available on the Xperia L because some Xperia L users say otherwise.

yes we definitely need an update on the moving apps to sd function n wi-fi problem.. for having trusted sony n buying their products blindly, we deserve this update.. Come on Sony, show ur Care for ur Customers!!!
