Hi,
I have just bought Sony Xperia SP in India.
I have installed few apps and games on the phone.
I wish to transfer these apps and games on SD card however there is no provision of moving the same from Phone memory to SD card. The only option I could see was transfer to photos/ music & Videos.
Could you please suggest any option for moving the games & apps from Phone's Internal memory to SD card (a feature which is available in Xperia Neo).
I tried using few apps available on play store like App2SD etc however I was unable to move the games & apps to SD card.
Would appreciate your solution on the above.
Regards,
Ajay

my SD card is class 10
do you recommend i root my phone?
is it worth it?
Why not release an update so you can move applications to the SD? The Xperia L my friend brings the option to move applications to the SD why in Xperia SP not?
I bought a Xperia SP thinking I could move apps to SD, previously I had a Galaxy s3 and I thought that this problem was only the Samsungs is why I did not bought a s4. My brother has a Galaxy s4 and now I see that Samsung sent an update to move applications to the SD. I'll wait an upcoming update for the Xperia SP and if not solve that problem I will sell it and not coming back to buy SONY again.
You can not move apps to your SD card

This should explain it

you have an alternative which is to root your phone and install an app (apps2sd) then you will be able to move the apps to your SD card

If you are running JB its not possible
If running ICS > Go to Settings > Apps > Downloaded > ( Open each and move to SD Card )
Also you can use third party apps like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.buak.Link2SD&hl=en
I bought a Xperia SP thinking I could move applications and games to SD, I am disappointed because I can not enjoy the games I had on my S3 that were heavy. No offense but they were thinking when they designed this Smartphone the Xperia SP.
Snapdragon s4 pro? adreno 320? for what? if you only have 8 gbs of internal memory which is available only 5.8 gbs?
It's "feature" of Android 4.1 and newer, not fault of Sony.
But is possibility to move apps to card, slightly modify Android and enable this option back. For example, Samsung allow this on some its models... And I think that Xperia Z obtained this option with some of the latest update.
Hope this will soon on Xperia SP too...
Small internal memory is fault on most of smartphones, of course...
But hey,if you want to play games,go get yourself PSP.Xperia SP is obviously a phone, not a game console,so it suppose to connect people and i personally think Sony did a great job with this phone.I'm sorry if that hurt you guys.
PS:I own a PSP and i can't live without it!
