Transfer of App from Phone Memory to SD Car

Hi,

I have just bought Sony Xperia SP in India.

I have installed few apps and games on the phone.

I wish to transfer these apps and games on SD card however there is no provision of moving the same from Phone memory to SD card. The only option I could see was transfer to photos/ music & Videos.

Could you please suggest any option for moving the games & apps from Phone's Internal memory to SD card (a feature which is available in Xperia Neo).

I tried using few apps available on play store like App2SD etc however I was unable to move the games & apps to SD card.

Would appreciate your solution on the above.

With Jelly Bean you can't move apps to external sd card

There isnt any update so far for this feature... samsung rolled out the update on jb to enable this feature..

you can not do so, you will have to root your phone and partition your SD card.

Samsung solved it with an update... Sony should do it too, because root = warranty over. ;(

Ok, downloaded apps can't, but...the images of whatsapp (for example) go all to internal storage, and in my old xperia, was go to external storage, its possible modify for go to external storage?

rooting doesn't quite mean that your warranty will be void, unless your unlock the bootloader

I started reading it yesterday and I remember being it really helpful!
It was about the three different types of memory and how to manage the phone's storage capabilities to keep the phone running smoothly.
Unfortunately today it is no longer available..

Could you please grant access to it?

I would like to study it to manage the phone's memories and i think it could really help other users as well (while also benefiting Sony Xperia TM)

There is a way around, but you will have to root your phone and install an app such as app2sd, also its not worth it if your SD card its lower than class 6
