temporary fix for blurred image. camera lens cover scratching. etc

Like you, I was also suffering from blurred images, faded images and focusing problem in my xsp due to the scratches on my camera lense cover. Actually it is not the scratches on your camera glass. But those scratchess are made on a coating provided over the glass by Sony. That coating may peel off within few months. Today I cleaned the residues of that peeled off coating by using a cloth and spray containing alcohol. Now the glass become clean. No scratch like appearances. And the camera focuses very sharply. No blurr. No fade. No focusing problem. Soooooo happy

Thank u very much my dear friend. Your tip is helping me wonderfully. I was disappointing with my Sony Cheria Z5 dual phone's camera's blurred images which I had brought thru olx for a cheap rate. But I couldn't noticed the camera problem at that. But after that I knew that I was cheated by the seller. So I go through the google to solve this problem. At last i meet your tips in this site which really help me to completely solve my problem. Now I am proud to my self being a owner of a leadership smartphone which I got for a cheap rate.

Thank u once again..

Both my issue and fix were similar to the ones presented here, only more... sofisticated. :smileysmileywink:

Regular alcohol did not work very well for me, so I used an old trick used to polish headlight lenses in a car: toothpaste. Gave my glass a good rub using a few cotton swabs with a small amount of toothpaste in each - followed by alternated cleaning with a soft cloth - and all coating was finally off.

Oh, my issue... I guess it started with the reduced performance of the autofocus function. That did last several months before I could notice any bad effect on the pictures quality (which was reduced by a lot all of a sudden). I hope this trick works for you in case alcohol did not cut it. Thanks for this, worked a treat. Couple minutes rubbing with some methylated spirits and now clear. Really surprised it worked, but it did.
