Problem with microSIM

Hi i have one little problem.I live in Czech Republic.So when I insert microsim to mobile and switch on, my mobile show me no sim card.I restart mobile and nothing happened.So could you help me?Thanks

Not sure if you have checked but just above the sim card slot there is an image of which way it goes into your phone -

Is it the right way ie: Contacts face down and the corner bit cut out is been put in 1st and not the other way round

Yes mobile show me: Karta insert, restart ... Mobile restart and my mobile show me no sim card

Tried repairing & updating software but still say " no sim "

did you cut it or is it a real micro SIM card?

I used my microsim on the other devices and it worked. Where is problem?

Probably the sim is not getting enough contact with the phone..my wife has a similar problem with her xperia mini pro. Try putting a piece of paper or anything thing that will help to tighten the sim card and help get contact with your phone. I know sounds crazy but it could work.

while your unit is turned on, try sliding your sim up/down just a bit at a time, because if it will be detected, the phone will automatically restart..

if it does not work, try you micro sim on another phone, and if your sim card works on another phone, then take your phone back to where you brought it, show it to them and ask for another unit you can test your sim card with.. you should get a replacement or get it serviced under warranty..

that is why I feel  it is important to test the phone before paying for it..

a word of caution though, if the latest version (6.1.A.2.45) of ICS is not yet available on your country, and your phone is still on GB, do not update it as the .043-.045 version is bug ridden..
