Hi i have one little problem.I live in Czech Republic.So when I insert microsim to mobile and switch on, my mobile show me no sim card.I restart mobile and nothing happened.So could you help me?Thanks

aw.. hope it was really a brand new unit you got from ebay.. there are things i'd rather buy from a store than through the likes of ebay... check the return policy from where you brought it from, but i guess that would sometimes be a hassle..

anyway, i'd suggest that

1. if your current micro sim works on other phones, then your micro sim is probably not the issue.

2. if you can borrow a working micro sim of the same carrier and test it on your phone and it still is not being detected, it might be a phone issue

3. to rule out a possibility of a phone issue, try a different carrier sim, if the problem exists, you have to contact your ebay seller for possible replacement, or if not an option, find a service center if it is under warranty (chances are if its not in warranty, you will end up paying for parts that might need replacement).

4. also try to check if wifi is working, radio, cam, hdmi output.. etc..

did u purchease the micro sim or did u cut it through a micro sim cutter !! also chk if u have inserted the right side of contact in the card slot !! plz mark helful u find this post useful

Yes i purchase this micro sim,I insert right side of contact in the card slot,my mobile show me message: sim card insert but when I restart mobile, mobile show me no sim card

if u have a new phone i guess probably might be a software error !! if u havnt updated ur phone yet update and then chk !! or else try a repair and chk once again !! or else take it to the service centre as it could well be a hardware error also !!

Yes i have a new phone. I have 6.1.A.2.45 update. I update this mobile via Sony update center from Android 2.3 to Android 4.0.4. What I should do?

only when u restart does it detect no sim !! also try changing to gsm mode only from settings->mobile networks !! hmm if it still doesnt work try a repair using update service or else take the device to nearest sony service centre to get ur problem sorted !! mark if u find my post useful

in pc comanion click on the top left were it shows ur phone is already updated !! another dialog box will open stating the same !! on the bottom u will find a link to repair !! dunno the option on update service but it is surely there somewhere !!
