My xperia x10 mini won't turn on!

My phone froze so I had to restart it, but it turned itself off instead and now it won't turn back on, anyone know why? or what i can do?

Had the same problem put the charger back in and turn it on from there and fine again. 🙂

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. XPERIA X10 MINI.

SWITCHED OFF THE PHONE YESTERDAY EVENING (BATTERY ABOUT 60%°).

DEAD THE NEXT MORNING. I WON'T TURN ON, IT WON'T CHARGE

I HAD INSTALLED THE LATEST FRAMEWORK ALREADY.

NOTHING WORKS :

- PUT THE CHARGER FOR 1 HOUR (NO SIGN OF LIFE).

- USB TO PC FOR 1 HOUR (NO SIGN OF LIFE).

- SWITCHED ON/OFF WITH/WITHOUT HOLDING THE MAIN/BACK KEY (NO SIGN OF LIFE).

THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO EXCEPT BRING THE F.....G PHONE TO REPAIR FOR ABOUT ONE MONTH.

THIS PHONE IS A PIECE OF S..T I WILL NEVER BUY SONY ERICSSON AGAIN.

good news from my pov but probably doesn't help any of you. My wife got her 3rd replacement x10 from O2 and has been using the handset now for about a month with no major issues. She manages to get at least two days battery life, has had no crashes and the signal seems much improved

If this one had also failed O2 would have then considered replacing with a different handset so you might have to get yours replaced 3 times and then go for a htc

I'm sorry to hear about the problem you guys are having.

But if you have tried with another SIM card, hardware reset, master reset and reinstalling (repairing) the software and still are having this problem the phone needs to be checked at a service location.

I suggest that you contact your retailer if you would like to leave your phone for repair.

I have done that obviously.

They told me to wait for at least 4 weeks !

What am I supposed to do in the mean time ?????????????

I need a phone, I need an agenda, I need that to be able to work !

What else should I do except buy an HTC ?

What strikes me here is that there are many people having this problem (and God knows how many people don't bother reporting the problem here...), this is clearly not an isolated incident !

And nobody seems to know what's going on...

Ooooh, I miss my Palm Centro so much.............

That was the greatest smartphone EVER !

As it is my phone will not turn on...

I  got the x10 mini pro 8 days ago, i cant replace it for a new one now,  and will have to wait weeks to get it repaired (I will not do this! I am  paying a fee monthly for this phone and i am not getting what i paid  for so basicly my provider and sony ericsson are getting free cash..   yay )

So  i was on the android market my phone was at about 10% i was downloading  Live wallpapers and testing them and i was so happy how amzing they  where... i left my phone for 5 min... cam back... phone was dead... I  thought ok must have died lets charge it!!! Weee ... nothing happened 😐  .. i waited thought i should be patient i try to turn it on ... nothing  and no blinking light... my friend tests both charges i tried and her  BLACK BERRY WORKS!! -roles eyes- i left it to charge over night.. i saw  the phone blink red 4 times tried to switch it on and a small vibrate  but otherwise nothing... fu** :''( ... i left it charging at work a few  hours later..  HEY THE LIGHT IS GREEN!! So i switch it on ... it gets to  the main menu, i see a live wallpaper is on i think let me quickly make  it a normal background before i can do this phone Dead gone wont turn  on and that was about 1 hour ago ive tried many things and nothing will  work.. IM SO SAD!! i love this phone!! IF ONLY IT WOULD TURN THE HECK  ON! 😕

Please  help me fix this fast or tell me that your phones are useless and ill  get another nice phone one that works somewhere else because im paying  for something I am not useing and contracts kinda states that im paying  for something i can use 😕 I LOVE THIS PHONE!!

I AM PAYING TO USE A PHONE!!! NOT HAVE IT IN A REPAIR SHOP FOR A MONTH!!!! FFS! give me a phone i can use on the mean time then! your are screwing with peopleles lifes and hard earned cash and we have not seen anything from you guys stating you are going to solve the problem either A B OR C way nothing we are on our own, i could go buy a plastic toy phone and atleast that thing will make noise and have lights seriously pls help us not send us to rapair shops and tell us "listen guys ehm like just keep paying for your phone and like just keep the phone in a repairship for a month or 2 and if it still dont work HEY! send it in again" that basicly what your saying, and iw ll be looking into my contract, and find where it says im paying for something that works, but now their seems to be something wrong with the contract rules where it seems to have been broken because im paying for nothing at the moment.. thanks guys

There is no solution.

This phone is a waste of money.

Got the phone back from repair.

All dirty scratched, but let's leave that "detail" aside.

They said the phone did not have any problem !!!!!!!!

That the charger was at fault, which is bullshyte since I tried 3 different ones before bringing it in ; and now, the charger works again : proof that the charger has nothing to do with it.

This means they have no idea what's going on and the problem might just happen again anytime !

I am ditching this phone big time and switching to HTC pronto !
