Meteo widget

Hello.

I have a Sony Xperia SP.

The update interval for the meteo widget is set to 30 minutes.

Usually I use only wifi connection and I keep connected during about 1 hour a day (the morning before going to work).

I don't understand why the meteo widget sometimes doesn't update...

Is there a way to force the widget refresh while connected in wifi ?

Thanks.

Hi there,

I guess you're referring to the Weather Widget.

Slide your main screen from left to right or reverse and then back to part of your screen where is your weather widget and just wait for updating.

Also you could to touch weather widget and wait to open and thereafter updating will start shortly.

In fact, the Xperia is connected via wifi 1 hour a day automatically via "Smart Connect" to permit my podcast manager ("Podcast addict") to automatically download new episodes.

Some mornings, I don't even have need to do anything else on my Xperia so the activation of wifi, the downloading of my podcasts episodes and the deactivation of wifi are made while the Xperia is in standby mode.

I have the impression that my non-refreshing problem occurs in this situation, when the Xperia is in standby mode while connected to wifi.

I think the better solution would be to simply touch the weather widget each day while connected in wifi, as alexrx said, to force it to refresh.

I will test that tomorrow...

Excuse for my english : I'm french...

Your solution is good.

it seems that the widget never refresh when the phone is not used (probably to preserve battery ?)
