Material used for Xperia Ray

I have been using the Xperia Ray for a couple of weeks and have enjoyed using it so much I bought a cheap newer-android handset to try aswell. I hate it though, as compared to the ray it feels light and fragile.
Please can anyone tell me what material is used for the ray?

You can read about it here

"Part of the inner body of the Xperia ray is made of metal, which gives the phone excellent rigidity. Still, the outside is all plastic so you don't get the metal unibody feel you get from other phones."

It is noticably different to the newer handset I have bought. It feels very solidly built.

How do you mean and which other android phone are you comparing it to?

I like smaller phones, the ray especially feels very balanced in my hand. It has got a good weight and it is comfortable to hold when using for extended periods of time.
I have bought a vodafone android phone, its still pretty small but the screens a bit bigger, but it is light and feels easy to break.
I like the Xperia ray much more.

Have you considered the Xperia Z3 Compact?

No, I have not seen the Z3 Compact. I will look at it though, thanks for the suggestion.
