How to Root Sony Ericsson Live With Walkman (WT19i)

im using sony ericsson live with waalkman, some softwares and games ask for root my ROM. i have no idea what is that, i have tried to root my rom by installing softwares but it doesn't work. i used Easy Rooting Toolkit (V1.0), i also followd the instructions before rooting but nothing works.

Hector, Yes you can Root your mobile but for that you have to first downgrade to 4.0.3 (4.1.A.0.562).

But remeber as there is no 4.0.3 Buiid was created for LWW, so just use Xperia Ray 4.0.3 firmaware for downgarde. After flashing don't worry if phone does not start properly just go to next step.

i did the steps but for rooting it didnt work after flashing for the 4.0.3 kernel it didnt work in doomlord toolkit and finally i give up !!!!!

lilww, Just follow all steps in {GUIDE} How to Root Xperia™ SmartphonesHere you will get all details. For LWW there is only 4.0.4 Firemware, so you have to Use Xperia RAY 4.0.3 Kernel.

Many of us rooted our mobile by via same method. Even I had done one mistake intialy. Just follow properly all steps, and you will be able to root your LWW.

In case if you have any problem, plesase post scrrenshot also, so that it easy to find the problem.

I have already rooted my phone. If I perform a hard reset, is it required to root again?? I google it, but have not manage to get a solid answer.

No you don't need to root again, only software repair removes the root and not factory data reset

i have sony live walkam, and  have 2.3.4, cna anyone tell me how to root, i have tried rooting but hasnt succeeded it shows some kind of error i dont know, when i run the exe after a while it shows permission denied and it just goes through in seconds and at the end the phone reboots and it shows on the screen press anykey and when i press a key the window closes,and the processes closes unfinished,can anyone tell, whats wrong, and what i need to do, i heard that if i root my phone i will be able to access pen drive from my phone, thats i wanted to do it, my email adrs is bluecoloured@gmail.com, someone plz tell tell me how to do it, all from the begining, plz, i tried all these steps but the processes doesnt complete,someone plz mail me how to root my 2.3.4, i will be thankfull to u, i am attaching the screenshot of what happpens when i run that exe. plz see this and tell where am i going wrongafter this when i press any key the window closes, now whats next, can anyone tell me what to do, plz mail me at bluecoloured@gmail.com
