I just had a look in an Xperia T3 running the same android version as you are, and the device will notify you that you're running low on storage as long as you're above the 75% filled internal storage threshold as mentioned by @uliwooly. In order to make the notification disappear, you'll have to clear memory in your device so that more than 25% of the internal storage is free.
I will gladly give you a few tips on how to free up memory on your device, but please note that all of these may not be applicable depending on what you previously have tried.
First, since you mentioned that you have an SD card it would be wise to try to transfer as much data as possible to the SD card. To do so, go to Settings > Storage > Transfer data to SD card.
Once all data which can be moved to the SD card has been moved, you can start looking at the internal storage for ways to free up data. For example, in the Settings > Storage app you can see an overview of how much data is stored for each category under the "Internal storage" tab which is a good indication on where you need to look.
As an example, if you see that Misc. is taking up a lot of data for example, you can simply press on it and a list of Miscellaneous data will appear and how much storage each entry takes up. You can here mark which of the data files you wish to delete to clear up data and then confirm by pressing the bin icon in the top right.
Cached data is also a tab under Settings > Storage that can take up a lot of space, by pressing the "Cached data" tab you'll be presented with the option to clear all cached data. Note that this will erase all the cached data for your apps, so only do this if you are OK with that. As an alternative if you don't want to delete cached data for all apps, you can enter apps manually and delete the cached data by going to Settings > Apps > App name > Clear cache.
Once you've looked over the storage menu under Settings for an indication of what takes up data, you can move on to clear data for the specific categories.
Another tip I have is that you can try uninstalling apps that you longer need that you've installed yourself, as well as uninstall updates for apps which you don't use by going to Settings > Apps > App name.

Hi @ivanvladislavovich,
Xperia T3 supports SD cards of up to 32GB according to the specifications and that is what we can guarantee due to our tests for the product. This doesn't mean that it is impossible to have the phone recognize a card with higher capacity - we can't guarantee it though.
I have decided to forward this internally for some more information however, I will get back to you guys when I know more!

I got an update regarding this and it is basically what I mentioned in my previous reply. The supported size of an SD™ card for Xperia™ devices that is stated in specifications or white paper is the size where quality and performance can be guaranteed. It may however be possible to use larger SD™ cards, but in such cases quality and performance cannot be guaranteed.
