Google Play Services cannot be found

I cannot find Google Play Services on my Xperia S.

I connect to my pc and install from web and it downloads and says "your Google play services will be installed soon". Still nothing.

I have Apps that are not working on my phone because Google Play Services is not there.  I can't see it in settings>Apps. Can't see it's icon anywhere.

Please can anyone help?

Cheers

Haha....using root browser application delete the folder for com.android.vending

path for which is /data/data/com.android.vending.

Then reinstall Google Play services and Google Play Store from the root system/apps folder....

Settings > apps > all > play store > clear data > restart the phone > open the play store > my apps > update all

That doesn't make sense unless you have the Chinese version

settings > apps > all > scroll to the bottom

Uninstalled Google Play a while ago but now I want to re install as I've apps I can't use, because of that.

Google Play Services can't be found to download!

Google Play from the browser doesn't seem to install the google Play Services.

Perhaps you uninstalled more apps than Google Play, repair your phone with Sony PC Companion

Must be an easier way than having to go through factory reset and reconfigure everything again?

You will have to figure out which apps are needed for the Playstore to work, since you deleted a lot of preloaded apps/services.

PC Companion won't repair. It recognises software that isn't present from previous Back-ups but won't install.

If I revert to factory setup will I need to reset all my networks, emails, apps etc?
