Experia T Re-booting after upgrade

Hi,

My Experia T keeps re-starting after the last big update last week. Did not do this before update.

Have tried re-updating and using repair program in  PC companion with no joy.

Is there anything I can do to avoid sending this phone back again...

Since posting above have found other threads about this posted 2 weeks ago -describing same problem, but did not see any resolution other than send back to Sony... Is that what everyone with an Experia T has to do after this upgrade?

Help...?

Already tried that, but no solution.

So, from all I read above, the problem is obviously NOT SOLVED so far. Right?

If I am wrong, please post what needs to be done STEP BY STEP!

Best regards,

JohnnyW

P.S.: I don't see why I should boot my phone into safe mode. From what I experienced, this problem is not caused by third party application, since I have this problem only since I ugraded to 4.3. Before the update, everything was fine.

Best regards,

Same problem here.

This is really poor customer service from Sony.

They seem to be completely ignoring the problem.

Even if they came clean and told us that a fix was being investigated, but no they simply ignore the problem.

And they are still advising people to upgrade to this stupid 4.3

DON'T DO IT PEOPLE IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY  !!!

same issue here upgraded to 4.3 build 9.2.A.1.205 during general use of the phone it will freeze up and then restart. I have had the phone sitting in standby without any activity from myself and noticed it restarting.Tried safe mode/re applying the update but no joy. It did not do this prior to the update and I have not installed any new apps or made any changes since the upgrade.

I will expect the usual no reply from sony on this issue so I could use someone else help. Is there a way to track what is crashing/freezing on the phone just prior to the restart? kind of the android equivelent of an event viewer?

This phone has been nothing but problems to date and well this now renders it almost usless. I can't believe I actualy applied this update after the last one killed my microSD card and we got no help from sony on that. This phone should serve as a warning to others not to trust sony as a phone supplier.

It would appear that I have joined the "Worst mobile on the market club". I have had mine for about 14 months and it has died for the fourth time. Each time I have to make a trip into the city centre for it to be sent off to Sony who wip my phone to do a system reset. This wipes my phone so I can start again again only for the same problem to occur.

Sony kindly offered to email me details of how to do the reset my self. This email did not arrive. The Sony techie said he would phone me back tomorrow to see if it worked. **bleep** genius he only had my mobile no.

Is this really a massive multi-national company? I for one will not purchase Sony again.
