Coating of the back peeling off

Hi,

i got my new Xperia T LT30P for now about 6 weeks (i think) and i recognized that the matte coating of the phones back is peeling off at the edges. It didnt get any scratches and it didn't fall a single time. I made some pictures of the spots:

Is the coating of the Xperia T smartphones just of bad quality? It shouldn't be normal that it looks like that after just a couple of weeks!

Does this only apply to Xperia t? Or the Xperia tl too? From the information I got, the Xperia tl has a different t back. Plastic top and bottom with metal in the middle I'm just not so sure whether the top and bottom is the same material as the Xperia t

the Xperia TL has rubber  top and bottom as you said and the mid section its Anodized Aluminum so the coating might come off on the bottom and top

phone sony support today and the nice lady on the phone said looks like a warrenty issue so will be sending my phone off to the repair centre and lets see what happens.

I hope if you remove the problem under warranty, it can be confirmed by Sony staff here. Let us not with vain hopes.

Same problem here. Emailed Sony today, hope they will recognise this problem. If nothing will be done about it, then that was my last time with Sony.

mine is the same i thought it was just mine but had a look on here its not just mine i havent dropped it or anything but i have got a case for it does anyone think that the case cold have started it thanks.

Dont think it would be the case as ppl with no cases reporting same issue

Mine is back with supplier and am awaiting their verdict.
