Cant't Download apps on Google Play

Hello everybody! Greetings from Brazil!

I have updated my wife's Xperia Mini Pro to Android 4.

I have created an account on Google for her to use it on Google Play.

I have agreed with the terms, I cleaned up the cache and files in "configurations" for Google Play process and Google Download process (I read this technique on Google Play Support), I restarted the Cell Phone, I deleted the account and configured it again and the only thing I didn't was to link a Credit Card number to the account.

Well, after describing all I did, when I try to download any FREE app, I receive a message that the app could not be downloaded and an error "-101".

I tried to download over internet, using the browser version of Google Play, and it says I haven't downloaded anything on Google Play (app version), so I can't download.

Anybody knows what is happening?

I read something about allow apps running on background, but on Xperia Mini Pro or for Android 4 is not where the tutorial says to configure.

I really don't know what to do and my wife is complaining (a lot! hehehe).

Please, help! Slightly_smiling_Face

Best wishes,

Eduardo

So, if I understand you correctly, you tried to use the web version and not the app? If I remember correctly the -101 error is caused by an outdated version of Google Play, in which you need to open the app for it to update itself to the latest version.

If the issues still persist after this or if you already tried opening up the app and waiting a bit, you need to update/repair the phone software via PC Companion.

Hi Samuel,

I've tried both ways, web and app.

Yesterday I have repaired the phone and it worked!

Thanks!

Hi....

I am facing the same issue while downloading any app from the play store. It says insufficient space on the device memory inspite of giving it for service twice. I even formatted my SD card and the issue has not been resolved.
