Can't find transferred files

Hello,

I wanted to transfer music files to the SD card. I've set the USB connection mode to MSC mode, but once the files are transfered I couldn't find them in Astro, Walkman, or anywhere else..

Please help?

What if you connect your phone in MTP mode? Do you get the same problem? I have been using the acro S myself for quite some time and never had any issues transferring files directly to the SD card. Make sure that you transfer your files to the correct disk.

when you transfer your files move them to

SD card > Music, that way your SD card wont be a mess and your walkman app should find them

is Sony spying on users in this forum?

I've done that, but it seems like the files are stored in the internal memory instead

So I fiddled with Astro a bit just found out there are /mnt/sdcard and mnt/ext_card

When I connected the phone in MSC mode and transferred some mp3s (drag and drop), they go to /mnt/sdcard but the phone said they're stored in the phone's internal memory.

Then I transferred them to /mnt/ext_card and now the phone says they're stored in the SD card..

Is there a way to automatically store the transferred files to SD card without having to manually move them around on the phone?
