Even my Xperia P adapter has a 1500 ma output.Your SP has a 2370 mah battery,so I would suggest somewhere around 1,5 A output.

It is fine if the screen has 30-50% from the battery.Do you have any task killers or battery savers? Can you post a picture of the battery graph and draining apps?

From the graph I can tell you that you are never charging it to 100%.Why are those fluctuations there?

What output does the adapter have? You might want to try another charger, with a larger output.

You got nothing to do,it is a small voltage, that is why it takes so much. You could try other charger, but it is recommended to stick with sony default charger.
