App icon and name changed after OS upgrade.

Since upgrading to Lollipop two of my apps have their icon and name changed.

Any easy way to reset this?

The apps still run when I start it, and works normally.

From Google Play Store. iMissal and Media Centre Control.

And this is their new name? Or old? You should try to contact the developers and get further information.

Old.

iMissal has become "com.catch.imissal.activity."

Media Centre Control is now "de.MarkusGehlhear.MCC.MCC"

You can,request desktop version to insert pictures.

About the apps,the name you say is their related folder name that contains app data.

I suspected that, or that it's the app's name. But why change with the Lollipop upgrade. Have had my Xperia for over 6 months and Androids like forever. It's not happened before.

Did you try to transfer these apps to the SD card? Also try uninstalling them, restarting your phone then re-installing again.

Most probably they were moved to the SD card. Or the developer has to release updates for lollipop. Do as Quester suggested.
