Screen takes more battery juice than other apps

When I check my battery usage, the screen takes nearly 50 percent of the battery always ., is it a bug or should I repair my phone...

How long have the phone been powered on?

You can see this in the very same battery stats that you're looking at to see the screen consumption.

You can also press screen here to see how long the screen has been on. Compare this with how long the phone has been powered on and consider your screen brightness.

Hi Johan, the phone has been on for 18h 21m 20s and the screen has been on for 3h 56m 20s and the screen has consumed 50 percent of the battery... Brightness is set to auto...

Its hard to say if that's normal or not depending on your current total battery remaining. If you're down below 15 % of total remaining battery there may be something wrong and you might want to consider reinstalling the phone via SUS.

Now the battery percentage is 3...phone is on for 19 h and screen is on for 4h 40m., screen consumed 51 percent battery...
