Device memory full in xperia L

Hi.

I have a problem with my xperia L. Device memory gets full with normal usage after a couple of weeks. After it gets full, the phone is almost impossible to use; album doesn't work, new updates will not install, phone resets itself, cannot install new programs.. ETC. The only way out is, in my opinion, to make a "factory reset". But this is not how it should go with a mobile phone..

I am completely sure that this is somekind of a software bug, because my work mate is having exactly same symptoms with his phone and some other users have complained this in this forum with other words. For example:

http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/140571

http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/144006

http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/141173

Somebody explained that this is because the album app is somehow broken, other explanation would be that the phone doesn't know how to refresh the temp files...

Now I have some questions for Sony:

1. Do you recognize this problem?

2. How are you going to tackle it and what is the schedule?

3. Also, when tackling this problem, will you repair the camera software too?

Then, I would like to know if there are other users having the same problem.. By the way, the system version is 15.0.A.1.31

Sony in Finland isn't going to return our money :/// This is just absolutely wrong. There is no moral in Sony's actions.

Me and my friend have the same problems as the rest of you with the phone and we both have pointed out that the phone does not work for the store ( Elgiganten in Sweden) where we bought it. But after reading this thread here and on Facebook that sony had understood that there is something wrong with the phone, we went back again to the store. We explained what we had heard from sony and now we wanted to change the phone back, because who wants a broken phone? but the store (Elgignten in Sweden) had not received any information that there was something wrong with the phone. But they would contact sony and after that contact us about how we should do with the phones. I really hope this will end soon!!

I am from India. facing this issue since 2 months. Motherboard has been changed thrice. Still the issue is there. The new update hasn't helped. Sony is just shameless. Not ready to give me replacement for this faulty phone and not willing to accept that there is a major bug in this phone.

Completely disappointed by Sony. What are you doing Sony??? Service is too slow. Please fix this soon...waiting for permanent solution.

I too am having the exact same issue.  Have had the phone a week and on second factory reset. This is an absolute joke. Why is Sony doing nothing about a problem which is clearly evident ????

I have build number 15.0.A.1.31

Pavvy, the reason why your phone has the problem even after replacing the motherboard is a dirty little secret in the industry. Mobile company's don't actually replace the faulty motherboard with a new one. They actually use patched up boards that were faulty before. This obviously saves them a lot of money. I have heard this from people inside the industry. Also the reason why so many people have the same problems after a board fix.
