Sony BDP-S790 will not play srt & sub subtitles from USB

Hi,

Why BDP-S790 will not play srt and sub subtitles from front USB? I have 32 GB memory stick. Movie file itself is *.mp4. What to do?

Hi,

nothing you can do, Sony does not recognise .srt files, the latest and best we can hope for is Serviio ( homestream ) version 1.2 as its been promised to support .srt files on Sony devices.
