I've just got a BDP-S490 blu-ray player which is working fine, however it won't play Casino Royalle which i have borrowed from a friend. The disk itself is region free, which is the only difference from the other discs i've played. They are all region B. The disk is clean with no scratches or fingerprints. Any suggestions?

Hi there
My advice firstly is to do a firmware update on your blu-ray player via Network Update. This normally resolves these issues.
Upon doing a google search, there was a batch of Casino Royale Discs released that were faulty, but as it works on another blu-ray player, that cant be the case. I am not too sure on the region free, but if its a legit dics, it surely shouldnt be a problem.
If it still fails after doing a network update, try resetting your player back to factory default. Again, it can resolve problems.
Fingers crossed, good luck.
