how do you turn off audio description

Hi. I have a 46hx823 tv with a bdp-s480 blu ray. I have a hard drive connected to the blu ray via usb. When i play back a movie i get this annoying audio description of the programme i am watching. Can someone tell me how to disable this please ?

Hi there

On the TV's remote control, Press the blue HOME button and goto:   Settings > Digital Setup > Audio Setup

Then there is an option for Audio Description.  Set it to OFF.

  I have the same problem with a BDP-S790 Blu Ray player.

I can cycle between the various soundtracks but can't find any option to turn off the audio description. It's driving me nuts!

Hi there

Are you sure your not meaning audio commentary? 

Anyhow - I thought audio description is on the disc itself - so it may be on the disc's audio menu settings itself.

Try turning off BD Audio Mix in the Audio settings and see what happens.
