I've currently got my PC connected via HDMI to the DN1030 and then out via HDMI to a sony bravia tv. The PC has onboard sound and an Asus Xonar Essence STX enabled. The Xonar is used for music and set to output analogue and as such uses the analouge source in. The onboard sound is used for most TV and movies and output as digital. Here i've tried both optical and HDMI as outputs into the DN1030 but my question is:
Is it possible for the Amp to automatically recognise the change in source and change to match it?
I've tried setting source to AUTO but it doesn't change. I'm guessing its not changing due to the Bravia Sync setting being enabled, but if I like the idea of turning Amp and TV off with one button.
