Have you tried clearing the cached data for the TV or updating the software for example?

Double-check that you have the latest v6.7140 version, then go for a factory reset.
Just to be sure, I'm assuming when you say "Freeview" you're referring to having the aerial connected to the back of the TV and not a Freeview box, is that right?
