Hi there,
after updating from lollipop 5.1.1 to marshmallow 6.0.0 my phone is stuck in a crash / reboot loop. my firmware is the generic malaysia version. i updated via pc companion. when i revert back to lollipop the issue dissapears. this is clearly a softwarte issue. i have tried flashing other regional versions of the marshmallow update for this phone and they all have the same problem. crash, then 4 red lights then reboot. repeats after a few minutes. tried repair via pc companion. Shocking that an official update is allowed out the door like this. tried booting without sim card, tried fresh install of marshmallow. same issue. anyone else experiencing this let us know.
Just wanted to post an update. I saw that nougat had been released for my handset so I tried updating to that. Unfortunately the same problem arose - freezing, black screen, 4 blinking red lights, then a reboot. Extreme heating of the handset and keeps freezing and rebooting constantly. Im just curious why my phone can't be successfully updated to marshmallow or nougat? But yet works perfectly OK on lollipop. Weird.
