Z5 Compact screen flickers during unlock

Hi all.

Have an unpleasant experience of using my new Z5 Compact. During unlocking the screen is flickering (attached img). After unlocking everything works fine. Have someone seen this?
This is hardware or software issue?

No need. At this point I'm going through ACL and cancelling the contract, either changing my phone or completely changing my provider. Found a much better deal with Vodafone anyway.

I have the same issue with my Z5compact. I though if the issue was related to graphics intensity, then switching off super vivid mode would lighten the load on the display but it didnt seem to change anything. Issue still occurs randomly.

I found that increasing display brightness made the issue occur less, but that only lasted a few days and then it seemed like the phone has adapted to new setting and issue started again.

Now I found it to be heat related. The only way to get the display restored is to restart a few times. Now I just pop it in the fridge for 5 min and then its back to normal, but it is bad. Running Android 5.1.1

Mine is having the same exact problem. Everytime I unlock the phone or take a phone call, the screen shows only lines according to the images previously posted. The only solution I can give to this is to restart the phone (by guessing where I have to tap to turn it off)

No advice needed, I'm just complaining since I am in another country and I can't have access to the Support Service (I called to Sony in this country and they told me that my cellphone needs to be repaired in the original country it was bought. Unfortunately, I can't afford a new one, so I guess I will have to restart it anytime I want to see the my messages.

It is the fourth time that happened to me this flickering and used forced reset, this time I saw small lines staying at top on clock side staying for a while then disappeared
