Z5 Compact dictionary

Hi

I set up my new phone last week and skipped past downloading the dictionary.  I now cannot find how to download the dictionary (I googled the topic and searched the manual for the word dictionary).  Any suggestions much appreciated.

Hi @luckyscott18,

Welcome to the community.

Go to Settings > Language and input > Xperia Keyboard. In here, you can turn on 'Auto-update dictionaries'.

Next, go in to 'Use my writing style'. You can download data from other places such as your Gmail account or your messaging app.

Finally, you can manually add words by selecting the 'My words' option.
