Z3 Compact Overheating After Android 6.0.1 Update

As indicated on the subject header, after updating my Xperia Z3 Compact to Android 6.0.1 OTA update provided by Sony, the phone is overheating badly and discharging the battery at an alarmingly fast rate. Solutions?

It is unfortunate that the OTA update caused issues on my phone. Regardless, reinstalling the latest update with PCC worked perfectly. Thank you very much uliwooly!

Agreed 6.0.1 is a disaster, overheating , lagging, battery drain with nearly all services turned off.
Sony/Google PLEASE FIX!!!
