Z ultra downloaded video/audio hangs every few seconds

I recently purchased a new Xperia z ultra. Old model I know.

. Well Google play and vudu both say that this device isn't able to play movies I own in high definition.  TV shows I downloaded to my phone play for about 10-20 seconds then the video hangs followed by no audio for a few seconds after that it works fine for a few seconds and does it again. Anyone have this problem or anything like it and if so please help.

There's nothing wrong with your device, the problem is an app(s) restriction. You could contact Google or Vudu but it is on their end.
