xperia zr wifi association rejected

HI,

I am using Xperia ZR C5502. I have upgraded from 4.2.2 to 4.3 but now i cant connect to secured wifi its showing "Association Rejected" i can connect to open wifi.

I given my mobile to sercise station of sony they formated but still same issue.

Sony please help me with this.

I have the same wifi problem. I even went to the service center and they gave me a new one,they said its hardware problem, and now the.same problem again, so what should i do, is there gonna be any solution for this or should i get another phone else then sony?

My phone is not able to connect to almost any wifi. I get the "association rejected" message. I have reset the phone 3 times and repaired it using PC companion but the problem persists. Please help me as I am travelling around the world and currently in India. I bought the phone in Thailand a month ago and have this problem since 3 weeks. I had two Xperia V before and they both had problems however I still decided to buy this new ZR and now I am very frustrated with it. please help providing a patch or do a recall then if it can't be fixed!

This has been going on for 4 months already, and I don't know about you, but I don't have an unlimited data plan, or unlimited money to rack up my bill. Sony get your **bleep** together and fix this.

Something that may help some: my WiFi problem comes and goes intermittently, sometimes not working for weeks but currently works fine.

I have noticed after my WiFi stopped working the last few times that turning off WiFi, then slapping my phone by the NFC chip against my thigh with some force (obviously not too much as to break it) and turning WiFi on again it works.

This rather brute force solution may not work for all but what it does prove, for certain, that this problem is hardware relayed: meaning no update will fix this unfortunately

I had the same wifi issue for more than one month now. But today, while I was checking Google play store, I found an application called wifi fixer.

The application seems to be nice, it shows a log of the connection process, but the best part that
it made wifi work perfectly.
I am doing some trials now to make sure that it works under different circumstances and will let you if anything comes up.

i have same problem. after updating firmware to ver 10.4.1.B.0.101 connection to my home wifi router was rejected by xperia: association rejected. Another Devices still work with my router correctly. this smartphone can connect to work access point's HP-PROCURVE, but when connecting to different parts of the building problem persists: association rejected.

turns out that the in this firmware can not be connected to a point, working on certain channels, or with a loaded air other access points

Anybody knows how to install a factory firmware on this device?

Rollback to the previous firmware 10.4.0.B.569 and restored settings from backup temprary resolve problem with association rejected. Today my problem was repeated

Rolling back may work initially but may not work permanently. I rolled back to 4.2.2 (.244) and I still have the problem.

i have been trying to resolve the wifi issue using wifi fixer that I downloaded from play store, still it did not solve the whole issue, but now after using it, wifi is working most of the time. Much better than before.
