Xperia Z5 - Issue with deactivating Ultra stamina mode

Hello,

Following is the sequence of incidents that resulted to the issue.

1. I activated battery stamina mode when phone was 100 percent charged. I also enabled low battery mode to start when battery goes down to 8 percent.

2. When battery went to 12 percent, I activated Ultra stamina mode. Pls note that when I activiated USM, the SM was already active.

3. USM got activiated without any issue.

4. Once I reached home, I connected charger and tried to disabled USM from notification tray option, which didn't do anything at all. Then I removed the charging cable and disabled the USM from Power management settings. Finally the phone rebooted.

5. When the phone powered up, it didn't restore anything from normal mode or SM mode (I mean the home screen layout, apps, etc), everything was just the way it was when USM was active.

6. Most of the apps where not visible in app drawer but were visible in settings->Apps

Finally I restored/resetted the phone, lost all apps and data from internal storage and phone started working normal again. 

Pls fix this.

@asrujitm .. FYI.. I faced the issue the very first time I deactivated it. So I ended up resetting the phone. And after the reset, I wanted to test if USM works or not, so I installed one game from play store and again tried USM, and it worked properly, it came out of USM mode properly. But after that I installed back all of my apps and I didn't have courage to try USM mode again, it's just lot of efforts to set up all again if USM goes wrong.

Exactly happening for me as well. Going to reset my phone now. Please rollout the fix soon.

Hay Guys,

Just tried USM .. and now having the same problem .. google play stop responding  and  skin.sonymobile.runtimeskin.. error..

what to do ?

seems z5 premium is a defective one!! ultra stamina mode is not working !

I desperately want to use this functionality, but both times I've used it I had to Factory Reset, reconfigure, and redownload all my apps from the Play Store (which I'm sure Google loves). 

I'm guessing it could have been because my Default Home Screen was set to Google Now Launcher, instead of the Xperia home screen (I've read one mod post which mentioned this in passing as a possible cause). 

Love the phone though, don't change a thing except for documentation. Your mod keeps squelching people like this really cool feature that isn't properly documented is gonna be some PR thing.

Yeah, yeah, it takes 3 hours out of my life to fix your mistake and I can't double-post on your support forums about it. That's cool, real cool, Sony.
