Xperia Z3 Compact Camera Rotation

I have been using my Xperia Z3 compact for two days now and I have noticed that any picture taken with the camera is always rotated the wrong way round, if the picture is taken in landscape it is sill in landscape but the wrong way round so the camera shutter button is at the bottom, and if a picture is taken in portait then the image is the wrong way up in portrait. This happens on other apps as well such as taking pictures directly with the facebook messenger app.

I hope someone can help with this.

Have you restored some of your apps?

Yes I have, I have also tried Google camera which works with the right orientation but the built in camera app and Facebook camera are still the wrong way

I think there is an app messing everything up.You should use the device without apps installed.

After several days of testing now with factory resets and no apps it seems like it is a bug in the gyroscope and a bit of searching on google seems to show that it is a common thing for not just my model of phone but xperias as well, is there any way to calibrate the Z3 compact?

I have the same problem with my camara xperia z3 compact but only when my frontal camara. What i need to do?

Seeing as the mods on here don't seem to do much I will reply then. 

I tried a factory reset 2 times and each time it didn't solve the problem, so eventually I had to send my phone off for repair. I didn't get any conformation that my phone had arrived with them however until I asked a chat advisor, who then said that it had arrived and they will send me a new one which was on order for dispatch to me. Their latest estimate is sometime between now and next thursday, which will make it two weeks since I sent it off.

Does using pcc mean I have to reinstall my apps?

Having exactly the same problem with both camera and screen rotation ..!!
is it because of the lollipop version ?
hardware problem ?
