xperia z2 water damage

I washed my z2 in fresh water for about 5 mins and then after an hour I noticed some water in the right bottom of the handset. I tried the diagnostics and almost everything was working fine except for vibration, absolutely no vibration came out of it. The fron camer, back one and flash got vapour all over them. I used the handset to view some videos for about an hour and then I noticed that the water had moved a bit to the top right corner of the screen with aome of it still stuck in the bottom, the power button and the camera button started lagging a bit. I left the phone in a horizontal position for a couple of hours and it all transported to the top left corner of the handset. I need help please can anyone tell me what I should do to force the water out? Thanks in advance.

Turn off the phone, and do not charge it at all. Open all flaps (SIM card and SD card ones) and let it dry freely in a well ventillated area. Some people report that placing the phone in a bag full of rice may facilitate the drying process.

Check the phone after 24-48 hours and inspect it for moisture/droplets.

i just chekced the phone and it has improved. i could tell because there is no more vapour on the front camera any more, however there still is some on the back camera. i had to charge the phone because it had no battery and i needed to see what had happened to the water on the inside. the water is mostly gone however there still is about 2 droplets and some moisture in the top part of the screen. i had previously placed the handset in rice and left it for about 24 hours with the flaps open. what do you suggest i do now? also i noticed that once the handset came back on it showed "charging slowly", could this signal some form of damage to the battery?

thanks in advance.
