Xperia Z2 isn't charging

I have a problem with my phone it is xperia z2, lately i am not able to charge it, the usb is not fitting inside the socket on the phone it is as if the socket got larged and expanded or something like this and the usb cant get in the phone what should i do? i have had this phone ever since it got released on 2014 it is very precious to me and i dont want to replace it. i have tried getting a wireless charger but the retail shop said they dont sell accessories for z2 anymore, would the sony support shop help in fixing it?

Also, is it possible to format the phone even though i cant open it? because if i were to visit the repair shop they would say that they have to send over the phone to the main company which is in another city from ours (the same excuse over and over again whatever the problem is) i still have my accounts logged in and there is still personal photos, i dont feel very comfortable sending my phone with everything still in it.

Check the port, it sounds like something is obstructing the adapter

I inspected it, but there is nothing inside. But while inspecting it with a needle the the small bar in the middle (sorry i don't know what is it called) was moving around and not fit in its place, could this be the problem?

Yes, sounds like it could be a loose pin.
Best bet is to contact your local support for a repair.

BTW ist possible to factory reset my phone even though i cant open it?

Yes, you can put all you data you need on an sd card and then go to settings, backup and reset then select factory reset at the bottom, on next screen, select "wipe all user data" and hit ok.
It will then factory reset.
