Hi guys,
I have a Xperia Z1 C6903, so fully LTE 4G rady, but I can't get 4G option when I select my preferred mobile internet. connection.
It gives me WCDMA (preferred)/GSM option, but no 4G/WCDMA/GSM option I have seen on other Xperia Z1 phones. It is a sim free phone, I am using the Three network in the UK.
Can anybody help? Is there something I'm missing? I did a full software repair with the Sony tool but it made no difference.
Thanks,

i have the lte option down below, it might be a bug. try repair with SUS, or it might be an hardware error
The best thing you can do is to visit a nearby sony centre, they will take a look at the phone.
It will depend on your carrier and the firmware installed on your handset
If your carrier doesn't support 4G (or it wasn't launched when the handset was) then chances are it is disabled in the firmware (this is done to help preserve battery life and prevent the phone seraching for a signal unessassarily).
You can either wait for a new firmware to be released by your carrier which should enable it, or flash to a firmware where 4G is unlocked (e.g. EURO)
Samsung and other manufacturers do this on a regular basis.
Which version of the firmware did you update to?
Do you know your customisation version?
4G needs to be enabled by your carrier. I am on 3 UK and have not had the option. Tonight I received an update through PC Companion and 4G is now available.
Also updated via PC Companion this evening, now have 4G available as an option. Odd that firmware version, baseband etc remains unchanged.
