Xperia Z Mobile Network Not Available

Hi,

I hope you can help.  I get this error with 3 different SIMS I tried but the SIMS work in another phone I have so it must be something on the phone but I have tried factory reseting it.

I get this "Mobile Network Not Available" error when I try to use the dialler.  I also get "message not sent, message will be sent when network is available" error when trying to send an SMS from the device.

However the SIM is recognised and I can see coverage bars in the status bar.  It also displays that it is on O2 IRL network.

In About Phone -> Status I see:

Network: O2 IRL

SIgnal Strength: -89 dBm 12 asu

Mobile Network Type: HSPA

Service State: Out of service

Roaming: Not roaming

Mobile network state: disconnected

Phone number: unknown

IMEI: Present

IEMI SV: Present

Does anybody have any idea what might be wrong?

Sounds strange. You could try with a software repair via Update Service:
http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/
Download and install Update Service, and follow the instructions that appear.

But if this doesn't solve the problem I suggest that you contact your local support team (http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/contact-info/) to get info about nearest service center so a technician can examine your unit.
