Xperia with Facebook app after update not working

Xperia for Facebook is Not working for me after the update. First it was no longer installed. After Installation it syncs, but either Birthdays wont appear in calender neither is the Account visible At all in the contacts mask. High quality Profile pics wont work because of that, too. Any idea?

Facebook is no longer a system app so issues that you encounter will need to be addressed by the developer

Hmm .. I´m not talking about the facebook app. I´m talking about the "xperia with facebook" account, which is necessary for calendar and contact sync.

I have just spoken with Xperia Support and they informed me that the contact sync was removed with the last update and it will come back. Thanks Sony one step back.

So we won't never can sync xperia for facebook any more?What the **bleep** is this update,the default sync with facebook app doesn't show me the photo of my contact when i call someone

I have the same problem. Xperia's Facebook app was useful.

I searched a similar app on the Play Store and I found Sync.me ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.syncme.syncmeapp ) which synchronize phone and social network's data too.

I recommend it, it's better than nothing !

Ok if these features were removed why an option to show birthdays is still in calendar app although they are not shown in the calendar as xperia with facebook is now broken. Will this be fixed? How to show birthdays in calendar again?
