Weird dotted selection box around icons

Does anyone knows what this is? A weird green dot box appears randomly on certain apps or even the app drawer icon. It is visually annoying.

Alex: while that thread gives no solution, I did find a way to get around the issue....

The problem was indeed linked to Accessibility feature in the phone, and for some reason it shows itself when any of the available apps is enabled in the accessibility screen.

In my wife's case, I bought her the SBH52 smart bluetooth headphones which become awesome when adding an extension app called "Watchit!"... the app has to be activated by enabling it in either the accessibility screen or in Notification Access (Sound & Notifications).

So in short, the solution was to turn OFF the accessibility enabled apps, and gives it access elsewhere.

While this is not the true fix, it is ok to keep the device home screen nicely looking

Great news @dquilon, I did think at first it was related to accesibility, but never thought to relate it to apps that require the service.
