Water Damaged xperia z ultra

Hey guys, my Xperia Z ultra was thrown into a pool with a depth of around 1.5m. The flaps were on tight, and was left at the bottom the pool for around 7 min. When the phone was retrieved, the phone turned on and was functioning. The phone was left on the side for about 20 min while I had a swim. I then tried turning the phone on, but didn't turn on. The only functioning thing was the vibrator motors, every time I held the power button to turn it on it vibrated for about 5 min. When I opened the flaps there was water droplets on the inside, I have since put it in a plastic container filled with rice to help dry it out. I have also searched online on ways to dry out phones. This is when I tried air out from the ports to try dry out the phone, a bit of water had come out. I had left the phone to dry over night, by the morning I looked at the litmus indicator had turned red, and the back camera lense had fogged up. I have tried charging the phone but, powering on isn't possible, the notification light does go orange but flashes! I was playing around with the power+up buttons and managed to get the screen to display the SONY start up logo for a few seconds until it stopped. Can somebody please help me, and share their thoughts on this and whether or not to send it to Sony.

I also just discovered that the flaps seals are starting to come off! Its only 5 months old and the seals are already come off, this must be a faulty component or at least very poor quality.

Hi everyone
I have a problem like this, the sealing of USB cover get damaged and when I was washing my phone, water leaked in and the camera glass get foggy, I tried to dry it and I could save my phone, but there is a frosting effect behind it,how can I clean That?
Is it OK if I immerse it in alcohol (or special cleaning chemical for electronic devices) and dry it again?

you can only put sony xperia z ultra in depth 1m under water surface but unfortunately you throw it in depth 1.5m under water surface

I experienced it also, it's been a year when I used my z in the sea. Water got inside my phone and now LCD display isn't working properly. In the first twelve months it is colored and now the display is negative. It's not colorful anymore. I tried to send it to Sony Repair Service here in the Philippines but they say that it will cost more than ten thousand pesos and the personnel also said that it is not advisable to repair it because it will soon black out and will not function again. I feel very sorry for myself, but atleast until now I can use it, only problem is the LCD's malfunction. I hope that it won't shut down forever. Huhuhuhu

When I am texting, suddenty the color blue become light and the other half is the real blue. My phone suddenly shot down and I try to blower it then put inside the rice container last Sunday then Monday evening I try to charge and the red light color that signs it is charge is on. But after few minutes I try to open it, the phone vibrates and no pictures or light opens. Please help me on the ways I can do to fix my phone and where is the nearest sony repair shop here in the Philippines.
