Water and humidity inside Z1 (still need more suggestions)

DSC_0044.JPGI put my Z1 under running water and after that I realized that there was humidity inside my phone (I could see it under my screen). All port covers were closed. Luckily, most of it dried up, but still some dots of humidity remain under the screen. Also, they haven't dried up a bit within 10 hours. What can I do? Please note that this happened after Sony removed the battery cover in order to replace the battery. Thanks in advance.

Shut down the phone, open all flaps, place it in a bag of rice or leave it in a warm and well-ventilated area till those drops go away. I don't recommend using the phone or charging it while it still has humidity inside.

thanks for the quick response. I already put my phone in a very well ventilated and very warm room, but nothing hapenned. I'll try putting it in a bug of rice.

Is there something else that I cant try? Does anything of these possible solutions guarrantee that the problem will be solved and every water drop will fade away?

@giorgos42

keep your phone away from extreme heat, do NOT use a hairdryer nor expose the phone to direct sunlight.

@uliwooly and what should I do in order for the water to dry up?

a bowl with rice, but the water damage might be already there.

By saying "the water damage might be already there" you mean that these bright spots caused by the water might remain forever? Does the warranty cover this type of damage? I had all the flaps closed and I didn't even submerged the phone. I just poured some water on it

The rice hasn't done anything at all up to now. What if I place it in front of a fan in a warm room?
