Does anyone have a changelog for various updates from sony? In the past, I've seen sony reduce functionality in updates (removing the ability to turn off wifi/mobile data from the pull down setting menu and other QoL features) that just don't make any sense, and I'd like to avoid that.
Thanks all!

I can assure you that this functionality still exists on the latest version of Android on our Xperia devices.
If you feel that there's something missing in a firmware update, please do let us know. It may be an oversight or a bug, and we always appreciate the feedback.
Hi @inund8,
Welcome to the community.
I don't have a changelog, but the ability to enable and disable wifi and mobile data is still available from the quick settings menu.
What version of Android are you currently running? You can find this under Settings > About Phone.
android 5.1.1
Build 23.4.a.1.200
If you bring down the quick settings menu (swipe down twice, or swipe down with 2 fingers) and the wifi and/or mobile data options aren't there, press the pencil icon to edit your quick settings.
Find the option you wish to add to the quick settings, and drag it down. You can remove options by dragging them up.
Yeah, I'm used to editing the bar, but I once had a z1 or z2 that updated, and completely removed that option from the OS, and the only way to switch mobile data was to go in to the menus My fear is that this will happen again

That's great! Not going to do it today, but when I do I will report back
Installed the latest update, and now I can't connect to wifi for more than a minute at a time!!! What do I do? OMG
I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty steamed right now >:(. I really was not looking forward to unbreaking Sony's updates again, honestly the only reason I even considered doing it is because the notification was annoying.
EDIT: On the bright side I guess I still can turn mobile data on and off, so I guess... I have... that... Thanks sony...
