Hi
I smashed my Xperia Z3 compact screen and got it replaced using third party repairer.
After the repair the touch screen was a bit temperamental but I have just realised the situation which causes it not to work.
It does not work if the only contact with the phone is the finger touching the screen.
If I'm holding it in my left hand while a finger in right hand touches it, it works fine.
Just one finger touching the back or sides or if charger cable or headphone cable it works.
However it doesn't work if mounted in car dashboard mount with no cables attached, or resting on table with no cables attached.
It's as if it need some earth connection to work properly.
I don't know if this is related but the double tap to wake no longer works also.
Can anyone advise what is wrong with it?
