Sound problem with Z5

When I play a music either via headphone or via Bluethoot speakers I hear sound deformations / noise / Sizzles
Some time I also have the problem when I call.
I've restarted the phone and I still have the problem.

Same problem here I think. Driving me mad. When I first got my Z5 a month ago I was blown away by the sound quality through a decent set of headphones, but know it'll only last for a little while before it deafens me with a loud, horribly distorted, crunchy, bassy sound. Please tell me an update will sort this, or do I have a faulty phone?

Yes I have this exact problem. Works ok for a few days then all of a sudden it changes to all bass and distortion nearly blowing my head off, can be extremely dangerous for my ears if this happens when it is up loud. Restarting doesn't fix the problem. Tried multiple headsets, multiple settings and nothing works. Already regretting moving from an iphone as music is what I use my phone for most. Just updated and literally 5 minutes ago, same problem.

im still having issues with the bass noise. and my phone is being silly when i connect it too an aux in. clippping noice and stopping my music programs. im still regretting this phone.

Come on Sony, let us know what is happening.

At least if we know that it's a software bug we can wait for the fix.

Does anyone know if this is a marshmallow problem generally? I have seen some references to it on nexus too.

U recently made the mistake of upgrading to Android marshmallow. It took away stamina mode, I hate the os version. To top it off now when I'm on the phone and turn on audio output, it is using only the bottom speaker. Before it used both. Is there a way to revert back to lollypop? Sofar marshmallow has only succeeded in removing favored functions of my Xperia Z5 premium.

Hi Guys,

I have an update. 

I factory reset and then I got a new OS update. Everything seems to be great now. I did find that the weather app kept the location services on all the time and the chat version of the messaging app seemed to drain the battery too. Disables both of these and I get in the region of 2 days from the phone now.

i have a strange issue m using 6.0.1 so when i play any music volume gets reduces during bass, or any low fequency. i dont get any bass punch at all has the low frequency just cuts the volume and so its eating all the base, feels like its trying to protect my headphones from blasting by lowering the volume during bass beats, but its not enjoyable at all now, as i have buyed xperia specially for music and that what m not getting from it plz do help me whats the reason n how can i enjoy bass pump, i have just tried wired headsets till now no bluetooth

Sound when using Powerful is great, bit when I use Music is without bass, when using Deezer no bass.
How to get normal sound on Deezer? Downloaded songs are in HQ.
Some advice? I have try repair, factory reset... But no improvement on sound quality.
On Lollipop sound was great.
Now I hate my E6653.
