Sony Z5 compact, low microphone volume

Hi, 

My Sony Z5 Compact does funny things during calls. It only works when held right up against face, or on speakphone, the other person cannot hear anything if this isn't done? Has anyone seen this?

I am sorry to hear about this issue. Once you have done the diagnostics test let us know, if the test passes we then suggest booting into Safe mode to see if the issue continues.

Safe Mode will let you know if the issue is related to third party software or if it is more focused on hardware.
