Sony Z3+ restarts constantly and screen randomly goes black

Hi,

I'm having a major problem with my Sony Xperia Z3+. It turns itself off (and then restarts) all the time (maybe worth noting that the notificationlight flashes red three times before it turns off).

Also the screen often randomly goes black (The buttons, including the touchscreen buttons and the sound still continue working while the screen goes black). Sometimes the screen will just come back normal, but most of the time it restarts. the screen sometimes even goes black while it's restarting itself. 

I've already tried removing the sim and the micro SD and since I don't want to do a factory reset until I've tried all other possibilities. 

I'd like to know any other possible solutions?

Can you please test your phone in safe mode and see if the issue persists?

Even though the blackouts are a lot less frequent in safe mode the problem seems to persist. Do you have any other suggestions?

It's strange they would be less frequent... It could be a combination of apps and firmware. To rule out any software causes can you please try a software repair using Xperia Companion.
