When I bought Sony Xperia Z5 las July 2016, I was amazed on how fast it is.
After three months it started showing sign that its freezing when on a call, Screen completely black even though the call is still active. it does the same thing two times a week then three times until it does almost everyday. Tried the soft and hard reboot and it seems to work for a short period of time.
Now the moment of truth, I installed Pokemon Go app which requires Data plus GPS. then while driving I used Waze app, and I noticed that the screen is freezing from time to time. when I tried to open a third app which user Data plus GPS as well, now it compeletely annoys me as it freeze for 3 minutes and I can't do nothing to reboot it. I am planning to return it to the retail store as it has 1 year warranty with Sony and additional 1 year extended warranty plan on the retailer. Any documents that I need for that step that I will be doing?
you should be familliar with your local warranty before returning your device. try to contact your Local support
in the mean time how about trying to perform software repair using Xperia Companion, this is different from reseting your device
