"Recording in progress in another app. Cannot record" Error.

I keep getting this error on my brand-new T-Mobile Z3. Are there any apps that could be interfering with the camera?

To fix this issue when it happens:

1. Go to the OK Google App.

2. Select settings

3. Select Voice

4. Select 'OK Google' Detection

5. Turn 'Off' the 'From any screen' selection

That will fix it.

You have to follow this process every time you use the 'ok google' feature on your phone until they fix it.

Yes This Error is Only due to Google now, just go to google now settings, and unchek the options for recognising OK Google from any screen, and you are done, you will not get any cannot record Error

Edmondstone has the correct solution. Disabling the Google now voice detection from any screen, will allow the video to work/record, while still retaining the ability to use "ok Google", from within the Google now app. However, every update sent out by Google re-enables the detection from every screen, therefore I find myself turning this option off, on average about once every 15 days or so. I also think it's a pain but at least still works on Google app.
As for Google. I thought they were fantastic but now it seems like "ooh ya gotta have ALL Google automatically installed. Stuff I don't want or use???? KISS ( keep it simple stupid)
