Office docs

HI all - quick one hopefully.  I use a few Excel documents on the phone and wondered what the best way was to sync the phone version with my desktop version.  Is there a synch software which:

allows me to edit on both PC and phone?

compares the 2 documents and offers me the choice of which to keep?

Thanks!

I use Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Google Drive to keep my documents sync on PC and my mobile. Download it on Google Play Store

Hi @robbyell, welcome to our community!

The app suggestion given by @nolramlb are some of the most easy to use application for handling different type of documents on different devices.

Everything will by synchronized with your Google account and you will have easy access to all the documents, everything in one place with cloud storage! Slightly_smiling_Face

Microsoft has developed Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and so forth for Android devices as well. I have not used these since I'm happy with Google Keep and Google documents, so I'm won't be able to say if they have a cloud backup or if they can somehow synchronize with your computer.

You can find all these applications in the Google Play store!

I hope that helps you decied on which applications to use and please let me know if anything is unclear! Slightly_smiling_Face

The Google stuff is free, but if you already use excel, you may want to take advantage of Microsoft's Office mobile, there might be some other features they have for both. I have both on my phone and OfficeSuite, because I can't decide which one of them I like better

No problem at all. Slightly_smiling_Face

Feel free to let me know which one you decided to go with in the end! Slightly_smiling_Face

@NeoBeum, Thanks for sharing this information and for helping out! Slightly_smiling_Face

It's always great when you can't decide which one is the best rather than having to choose between two application when neither one is that great to begin with! Smiling_Face_with_open_mouth_&_closed_Eyes

Have a great weekend both of you!

Oh, I forgot to mention - there's Microsoft Office Mobile - don't worry about that - just get the individual app you need. Office Mobile will tell you to get the app required anyhow.
