I just upgraded my Z5 compact, and lost all mobile data access.
EDIT: I'm located in Norway and have Telenor as the operator.
I've tried rebooting my phone, often after each setting change, with no effect.
I've tried:
- Checked the data provider
- Turned off and on again Mobile Data
- Turning off Roaming
- Turning off Power Saving
- Changing to 3G only
- Changing to 4G
- Redownloaded Internet Settings from the network provider
- .. and probably more
Nothing seems to work. There doesn't seem to be a problem with my network provider, which I didn't expect as it happened immediately (I think - had mobile access some hours earlier) after upgrading.
Is someone else experiencing the issue and/or knows a fix?

Same, only worse: .305-update, then no 4g, or any internet connectivity whatsoever. Cannot send SMS. Only thing working is talking in phone and WiFi. Provider is Telenor, Norway. Anyone tried to factory reset after upgrade? I'm not very motivated for a factory reset
Any luck with refreshing Internet and MMS settings? Maybe the update wiped them out?
Settings -> More -> Internet settings -> Accept
I still have LTE on my E6603 but now only 1 bar of reception instead of the usual max bars at home. The app Network Signal Info Pro (from KA | BITS Software) shows that I am connecting to a cell site over 10km away, instead of the usual towers within 1km. I wonder if update 305 is causing the phone to ignore certain LTE bands and/or modes, so it's connecting to a tower farther away that uses one of the bands that still works.
Most of the set of frequencies for celluar are unique to North America. There are only a couple bands in common with Europe.
Sony really flubbed this update. It broke my Android Pay too... It falsely tells me my phone is rooted.
Tried a restart?
My E6853 Premium updated fine to .305.
However, looked like only GSM/3G just after upgrade. -Then phone initiated automatic restart again to finalize/setup carrier specific settings.
After this, all normal with 4G/LTE, VoLTE, etc.
Telenor as carrier.
Restarted several times. Refreshed Internet and MMS settings too.
Which carrier do you have? is your phone network branded/SIM locked?
